Re: WW1 Italian pilot's prancing horse

My long-term memory finally has a contribution to make. Enzo Ferrari worked
in the military in WWI, he would have been twenty in 1918. After the war
FIAT rejected Enzo's employment. Now switching from memory to a bit of
research, Ferrari joined Alfa in 1920, the prancing pony symbol was
bestowed on Enzo Ferrari in 1923. Actually the emblem was owned by Baracca's
squadron. In my mind, Enzo Ferrari was the ultimate businessman, what an
empire. The ultimate honor was bestowed on him when the Pope came to visit
Ferrari.
