 You mention that you can't find a rust-free GTV under $10K, so should you 
just buy one of them and live with/fix the rust. Well, your instincts are 
right. I'm willing to wager that the added cost of a rust-free car will be 
less than one-half of the cost to get rid of the rust in a car with rust 
showing in the usual areas that you mentioned. In other words, save yourself 
thousands and buy the higher-priced car. You will never regret it. It's 
amazing how fast you can ring up 100+ hours of labor in a body shop for metal 
repair/replacement.
