Greek letters & springs

That Greek letter is alpha, meaning Alfa, meaning Alfa Romeo - I've found
them on many of the pieces on my GTV.

I've had good luck with my yellow Centerline sport springs, although I
completely rebuilt the suspension when I replaced the springs so it's not
easy to separate how each piece contributes to the excellent handling of the
car. You might what to think seriously about putting adjustable uppers
(camber rods?) on at the same time. Just make sure and ask about the caster
bushing - the original type requires a pair of special washers that are NLA.
Fortunately, the bushings for a later spider work just fine. While you're at
it, think about maybe replacing the big bushing where the trunnion connects
to the diff with a poly bushing - it can make a big difference.
