ignore fred.  a trusted mechanic gave me the save advice last year.  just keep driving it until it dies.  alfa engines are easy to find.  if it gets really nasty, look into a used engine and have a weekend swap party.  hell, even if you pay $200 for a running engine, you're only out $250, right?!?

I guess you wiill have tp learn the hard way, drive iit as hard as 
possible over long stretches, have the tow truck behind you or use your 
cell phone to call AAA Plus. It carries your car free for a hundred
