63 Spider no start -now starts (but I feel like an idiot)

Joint the group, I thought I was the only one that's ever done this. I
replaced the battery in my wife's 85 T-Bird at night and didn't see the
plastic cap. This one had a negative "-" sign cut in it, so when it didn't
crank I used my VOM to check it out and of course in the dark the probe went
into the cutout and make contact. I took a while to figure this one out.
Talk about feeling stupid.
