oil temp in 67 GTV

Regarding Robert's 190ish oil temp in his GTV's 1750:  From reading in the
Porsche club tech columns, they say oil temp is not a worry until you get up
into the 220-230 range, and by 240-250 they say you're definitely too hot.
So at 190 it seems you have some ways to go before needing to worry.
Whether that's normal in street driving I can't say.  Have you checked the
gauge for accuracy?
