It's my understanding that this can be done, but is a relative pain in the ass. But with all the parts coming right off of your other car, it might not be that bad. I saw a Milano in a non-Alfa specialist shop in Cincinnati having this conversion done a couple of years ago. I have no idea if they'd want to take time on the phone to explain it, but I can get their number if you want.
