Tire recommendations

 I know this subject has been covered many times. It also is subject to 
personal taste. I just looking for some input. It's time to replace the tires 
on my 
79 spider. It is not a track car, I would like something in line with 
performance.
Not a super budget tire, just a good, not too noisy tire with good grip.
And of course one that I'm not going to have to replace in a thousand miles.
My plans are to put larger wheels and tires next year, but front ones are 
shot
and needs replacing now. Size is 185 70 14. I've been pretty happy with the 
Yokohama's that are on there now. Any input?
