A few years back when I was participating in PNWARC track events I purchased
a Shoie full face motorcycle helmet that was identical to the Snell rated
automotive helmet Shoei made except for the Nomex fireproof liner. It was
the most comfortable for my head and was highly rated at the time. There
was no eBay at the time so I just went to the local Honda shop. When and if
I start participating again, I will look for that type of helmet. It seemed
superior to me to the HJC and other brands the shop carried.
