Pump question?

Don,  The pump does not run with ignition switch on, engine not 
running.  Safety feature in case of roll over or bad accident to prevent 
fuel spill engine off.  The air flow meter has a switch to jeep the pump 
running after engine starts.  Check for power in the brown wire from 
ignition switch when you let go the key after start attempt.  No power
