the duplicates stopped before i went on vacation, actually (i'm back
in case you all haven't figured it out from the existance of this
message), but for some of you it took a day or two for the mail
queues to clear out (they had gotten extremely backed up due to
a communication glitch between our name server and sendmail here.)

i think it's all better now.
