Wipers and drain plug

Thank you! I believe this section of the FAQ is from my BOHICA tale
of fixing the jerky wipers - which I've gotta do AGAIN - seems like
once a year it needs it. Gonna try a different grease this time in
the hopes the cure lasts longer.. luckily (sorta) since I've done
it before, my wiper now has screws holding the contact plate on, so
the hardest part is removal and reinstallation of the motor.

One way of avoiding MOST of the chips is to grease heavily (with
heavy chassis grease) the tap used to cut the threads for the
helicoil. I'd then flush the engine once to make sure nothing
got left behind.  The pan is supposed to be removable with the
engine in place - but I suspect the front of the engine must be
raised up - a PITA. I'd go for helicoil in place if it was me,
with lots of grease to catch the cuttings.
