Re: Over revs



While over revving and bouncing off the rev limiter is something most
cars can handle without a hitch when you down shift from 4th to 2nd you
can force the car go beyond the rev limit....when that happens the
pistons are moving faster that the valves and when THAT happens you have
trouble cause if your piston is moving so fast that is's out of sync
with a valve...BANG bent valve!
