Temp sensor

The temperature readout on my 89 325iX is permanently set at -22F.  All
other parts of the onboard computer work OK, but the temp is messed up.  Is
there a sensor gone bad, and if so, where to find it/replace it?

Sorry to ask so many questions.......I'm just excited about the "new" BMW
and am trying to get it all in working order.
