E30 SI Board

Today, I changed my SI board.  The previous symptoms were Red light on even 
with the key off -- MPG gage acting up (intermittent) and a steady inspection 
light.  I did a full reset and now have all lights out except a green light 
in the center -- on steady -- ignition on or off??  Any help would be 
appreciated.  Thanks in advance.  Incidently, I followed the reset 
instructions at http://www.bmwe30.net/tech/sil_reset.html.  It was really 
clear and helpful.  Thanks in advance.
