Ah, the old Dealer screw... Let me share a little story with Fort
Lauderdale Imports... While they (in general) are a good dealership, there
was a time when I needed the little $0.75 spring on my fuel door replaced
and they wanted me to pay $50 in labor for replacing... that was the
minimum rate for 1/2 hour work... I replaced the spring myself and it only
took me 1/2 a minute... go figure...
I just got off the phone with my service adviser at the above mentioned
dealership and he says that a clutch replacement is a 7.5 hour job...
So, at least, it seems like it is a standard among dealers...
