RE: 88 m5 plug wires



It seems that everywhere I look recently, I keep seeing the same bit of
information: On any modern car, the ignition system should be considered a
high-performance ignition system, and no upgrades are necessary.  The only
reason to even replace what you have is if it is damaged (worn insulation, a
terminal pulled off, etc.).  A lot of people are making a ton of money
making people believe they will get more power if they use larger wires,
etc., but I've never seen any proof to back up the claims.
