RE: iin-car camera mount for driving schools?

I used a piece of "uni-strut" (the light weight version with the holes) to
make a bar that attaches to the rear-seat shoulder belt attachment points.
In my case (944 turbo) the rear seats are vestigial anyway. In your case you
may want to keep the shoulder guide on top of any bracketry. I used the bar
for many years at BMWCCA-DE events as a harness bar, in addition to
supporting the camcorder.

I finally purchased a bolt in rollbar (John Hajny) that bolts to the
existing seat belt mounting points (lap and shoulder). I installed it over
the lunch break at a DE event at Watkins glen, then went out in the next
session and wrecked (broken front sway bar bracket).

Go Figure.
