The idea has crossed my mind, but a combination of hassles prevents me from
pursuing it... especially in light of the fact that on the whole, our
winters are rather mild here in Washington.  I park my truck on the street
in front of my old house, so I'd have to run a very long extension cord out
to it across a pubic sidewalk.  There's no outlet on the front of my house,
so unless I installed one I'd have to run the extension cord inside through
the front door.  Not a good idea really.
