Re: Electronic Ignition "Amplifiers"

I pulled my Dr.Jacobs guide to better ignitions out today and am
re-reading some of the instructional sections about the various
components of an electronic ignition. The 'amplifier' is mearly a
circuit that takes the low power dirty wave form signal from the
reluctor/pick-up and translates it to a more usable signal to the coil.
Therefore as Allen says the 'amplifier' is really a translator.
