Oh man, you have no idea how many people feel this way.  It is an 
inverse function of how much you know about what is actually going on. 

Anyone out there ever watched in horror as a manager makes a decision 
about some product based on "smoke & mirrors" when you knew it really 
wasn't going to work?????

No matter who tells you what, *always* give it the common sense test. If 
it sounds too good or too simple, it probably is.
