I *was* joking. ;) But I do like the thought of filling the gas tank on the
trailer, and rigging a pump system to *transfer* fuel.

Maybe an electric fuel pump on the trailer, and some type of hose coiled up
in the front section (where I'd have to build a "bulkhead") that'll reach
from the trailer to the Scout (or, more typically, to a friend's Bronco...).

This would have the added benefit of "storing" an electric fuel pump should
I ever need one when I'm hours away from the nearest NAPA...

Pintle hitch would be the way I'd go. Specifically because of the
articulation.

How am I supposed to tow a ball-hitched trailer up Surprise Canyon when I go
to visit Hofstetter? ;)

hey, it would be a Scout trailer... it *has* to be able to go wherever the
Scout goes.
