John et al., I have used Permatex copper cote. That is the spray can stuff. I use it on almost all gaskets. Very easy to apply and has all those heat transfer properties. Seems to work excellent with headgaskets, but removing a water pump gasket, I still had to scrap the remains. Guess I gotta try the Ultra Copper stuff. Ken
