Re: High kick in speed for Summit one-wire alternator



According to the Bosch book about automotive electronics, courtesy of 
John H.,  the high kick in speed is caused by the heavy nature of the 
internal wiring of the high cap alternator.  The one wire may aggravate 
the situation but I doubt it.  It's really no big deal.  You just notice 
it more on the Scout since the 345 turns so slowly.
