Howard...what dont you know



Howard you are the man. I havent heard much about your past were you a 
original IHC dealer way back when. You seem to know everything about 
older IHC's. You are the knoledge source!!

Wrong.  There were no factory installed steering stabilizers.  IH did
offer them for the 800's and Light Line through the MT-87 Necessories
(Necessary Accessories) catalog.  P/N 244 788 R92 was the kit for the
Scout.  Perhaps the dealers installed them before delivery, but they 
were
not installed at the factory.  They were popular aftermarket items even
back in the 60's, but IH never made them OE.
