Joel-

I am sure you are doing this, and I don't currently have a T'all to look at,
but I think I recall that I always had a really hard time when I used a jack
under an axle or suspension part, as it crammed everything together, as
opposed to jacking on the frame rails or body mount area somewhere.  I know
this sounds easy and rudimentary, but I also caught myself doing it the
wrong way a few times, depending upon what jack I had handy and how big a
hurry I was in.

Again, I don't accuse you of being as dumb as me, but I never had THAT much
trouble, as it sounds like you are having, so thought maybe it was a simple
oversight like this!
