close. So long as it's built exclusively from (unfinished) wood felled with
an axe, skidded with a horse, shaped and fitted with a broadaxe and an
adz, and assembled using wooden dowels, and uses cotton canvas sails hand
woven from hand spun, hand picked cotton. (And provided the horse , the
logger, the shipwright, and the seamstress, etc., don't exhale !_)

  A rowboat?

As above, and also so long as the oarsman doesn't exhale.

  A canoe?

As above.

A bicycle?

Again, as above. Been a while since I've seen a wooden bicycle with wooden
tires, though.

 A helium balloon?

You don't think it takes energy (and quite a BIT of it!) to refine helium
out of the atmosphere ?!?!???? 8-0

OR--that fabric woven from natural fiber would hold helium for any
noticeable length of time ???

Greg (Adam Smith's "invisible hand" still works pretty well !!)
