Air Compressor Intake

Forgot to ask about this earlier..

I haven't "finished" my Air Compressor setup yet, but I was playing with 
it last weekend up in the hills.  All the various club members wanted to 
take a peek and see how I did it (I expect everyone else to have the same 
setup on the next ride.. ;-) 

Well, I had just put a simple $5 "in-line air filter" on the end of the 
air-intake.. just so there was *something*.  I know I need to rig 
something better up.

This filter and hose was then placed somewhere out of the way.. turns out 
I placed it against the carb, just under the air filter.

Everyone *thought* I had routed my air compressor intake into the carb's 
air filter!

I'm sorry to say I hadn't thought of that.. :)

Any ideas?  Would it be a good thing to run the air compressor intake 
from the engine's air filter?  Maybe put another air filter in-line 
downstream of the air filter element?

It certainly would be "trick"..
